What are the specific plans for development?
The Ranch’s plans for limited development are focused on the western edge of the Ranch:
- Centennial a master–planned sustainable new town community on about 11,700 acres at the southern end of the ranch in Los Angeles County. Nearly half of the community will be preserved as open space.
- Tejon Mountain Village, an exceptional environmentally sensitive mountain resort community.
- Tejon Industrial Complex, a 1,400-acre complex located on busy Interstate–5 near its junction with Highway 99. The complex is expected to generate 6,000 jobs and $5.5 million in annual new taxes for Kern County at completion. There are no specific plans for the additional 17,000 acres adjacent to TIC near the base of the Grapevine.
